Lamb Creek Tenement - E47/1238
The Lamb Creek tenement is close to existing infrastructure and consists of one project, called Boundary at the south eastern corner of the tenement boundary and one exploration target called Wedge, at the southeast corner of the tenement.
The total JORC Mineral Resource within the Lamb Creek tenement is 39.7Mt @ 57.1% Fe. The iron ore resource is hosted within the Brockman Iron Formation, which is outcropping from surface.
The identified resource at the Boundary project is 20km to the west of BHP Billiton’s Yandi and 35km from Rio Tinto’s Yandicoogina mining operations. The Yandicoogina rail line, owned by Rio Tinto, crosses the Lamb Creek tenement eight kilometres to the north of the resource.
Planned activity for 2011 :
- Wedge Exploration Target – RC drilling to determine the mineralisation hosted within the syncline structure of the Brockman Iron Formation.
